The first Chelsea player to score on his league debut as a sub since George Weah in January 2000. :blue scalf:

His tweet: "Dream debut!First game, victory and first goal! I can't ask for more.Very happy and enjoying the moment and thinking about the N. Team now!"

I was surprised that Lampard made a very good run and Mata passed him the ball. Something that he never does. The run led to the cross where Ivanovic missed a sitter. I think with Mata on the pitch, some players will start making some good movement and not just static

All around great play and defiantly going to have taken Maloudas starting spot by the the end of the season scored one and came damn close to an assist (If Branna had hit his free header on target) Lets just hope he can link up with and get the best out of Torres!

Like we saw in the Norwich game, he is given a free role. Pretty much like Silva in Man City. They roam around everywhere - left, right, center, deep - he was everywhere. The pass that released Nico for the 2nd goal from the counter attack was a classic. He almost found Ramires with another brilliant long punt on another counter attack.
