Really wish we had matching reports on wether he was Conte's target or not. That information would have a big influence on how i feel about this whole thing.

It is funny, I am surprised with the amount of complain that we lose Lukaku to United.

I thought people in the forum does not think Lukaku is good enough. Now he is heading to united, it feels like an armageddon

We are delighted to announce a fee has been agreed with Everton for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku, subject to a medical and personal terms.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

It's done.

I'm absolutely gutted. So wanted him back at the club.

You watch him smash in 25 goals this season and try and tell me he's rubbish.

Genuinely delighted.

Call it 'arrogance', but when a player is clearly so damn below-par, and when so many 'new' football supporters don't understand how the game's been changed by marketing, it's the biggest relief to not see your club fall for the new-age (yet).

It's been like having my ears and eyes punched by Mike Tyson daily whenever reading or hearing radical pro-Lukaku (&Morata, gotta be honest) statements; all the intense energy...for this guy. It feels like a win for traditionalists.

What a moronic post.

Adding that now we sidestep the spiel about Chelsea being Lukaku's 'home' & him being the 'next Drogba' (seeing this would've made me...do things, crazy things.)*
A win. A big win. There'll still be doubters when he scores a few goals against top teams, who'll completely ignore the previous 70 minutes of poor play (like we've been putting up with re: Costa) - but it's dying. Rapidly. This facade. Truth has won, and only the idiot manager has gone for him.

*How dare Stamford Bridge be 'home' to a player who's never done anything for the club, when others have had massive parts in giving us our very best days since Roman came, & are barely even remembered.

GET IN!!!!

Was worried for a second. Now let's get Bellotti.

If we actually had a chance of getting him I wouldn't give 2 shits about this. But do you honestly think our incompetent board will sign him.

Moronic post. (Have you not seen Darren Bent & Benteke?)

Anyone of sharp mind will be amused by this measure of success. Goals = good, no lol.

It's like saying 'tomatoes make a good pasta sauce'. No, that's simplistic; not if herbs & seasoning are totally lacking. A striker playing for any top team should be scoring 25 goals every season as a minimum, and if that's all he can do, with no other good traits, your taste is terrible.

Lukaku still yet to have personal terms? They haven't agreed yet? What if Lukaku doesn't want to go??

Fuck Mou that cancerous piece of shit. HIs second coming was the worst thing that's ever happened to this club. He got rid of Mata, KDB and Lukaku.

Meh we won 2 PL titles in 3 years without them. We wouldn't have some of the same players if they had stayed. ex; Cesc and Costa.

We are where we are, and with the right transfers the club can take more steps forward.

The player i regret the most is Flipe Luis, still divesting how poorly he was utilized.

Nice one.

Ultimately, he was Conte's first choice so I trust his judgement of a player and what he felt he could get out of him over someone posting a load of waffle celebrating not getting a player.
