Lukaku wasn't originally going to take the penalty. Apparently he insisted to Mourinho he wanted to take it, to which Mourinho replied: "Are you sure?" and Lukaku obviously said "Yes". Maybe he wanted to do a Drogba. It looked like he was going to replicate his penalty too. Look at his position in the squad as well as the penalty miss. He very well may ask for a loan himself.

Seriously some people need to get a grip. So he missed a pen. It was too much pressure for a 19yo to be taking the 5th pen at such a big match. But the fact that he wanted to take it says a lot about his character and the his reaction to missing it shows how much he cares about the team. You don't need to show courage to take a penalty but you should know when not to take one because of to many emotionions gathered.
