if we are to loan him out i think the french league would be the best. a step forward but not the leap that he may not be ready for yet. no point in taking a step backwards in joining a league any weaker than that tho.

LIke I said in another post, consider the little ammount of playtime Lukaku has had. If you look at him when he played in Anderlecht you can clearly see a differance in his positioning but mostly his touch. This guy needs some serious playtime and he'll have huge potential.

I think.His first match was great for him 2 goals but in the second match He was quite lazy and bad skills.I hope He will be great player for us but He should be go to loan(1 year) where He will play much more.Just my opinion.HE MUST PLAY!!!

It seems this is another case of high transfer fee syndrome. I think if we bought him for less, i.e a price that matches what he can bring to the team at this point in time, people would be less critical about him.

Loan move would be excellent. Can't let potential like that just sit on the bench all season.

What I don't get is why does RDM insist on playing through balls to Lukaku like in the 1st game like he is Torres? He's a big lad, bomb some crosses in try to do something. Even against MLS, Lukaku was leaving the box to receive the ball and then failed at some 1-2 pass.
