  1. Man City 6-0 Chelsea

Are we sure those are cigarettes that he smokes and not weed?
  2. Man City 6-0 Chelsea

Football is about class, a handshake is the least you expect from a manager
  3. Man City 6-0 Chelsea

And to those saying, that the players lack mentality and shit. Well then, why is Sarri so stubborn to keep playing the same players again and again expecting something new to happen.
  4. Man City 6-0 Chelsea

For a team based on passing and possession, we crumble quite easily under pressure
  5. 2. Antonio Rudiger

Centre back is the only position sorted out for me. Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Christensen, and when he comes Zouma, will be a rock solid defence. The only dilemma with the next manager would be where to play Azpilicueta , he might be shifted to right back , as he has shown that he can put crosses in, but on the other hand I don't think he has enough pace or strength to run past players, which is necessary for a Right back
  6. 13. Willy Caballero

He seems like a street football player who is so excited that he runs after every ball, just doesn't know what to do when he gets it
  7. The Conte Thread

I just want this season to end, it's too tiring to watch the same shit manager, players , board etc etc. There isn't one good thing I could possibly point out about this club's current situation. Even while we were 10th, I still enjoyed watching Chelsea play, it just isn't about the results anymore, it's like the club has had it's passion sucked out, and I don't even know what changes should be made to make the situation better, when no one seems to care anymore ,from the players to the owner.
  8. The Conte Thread

I am so fed up of people believing that quality is the thing that is most lacking in the club, not at all, it's leadership that's missing. You can't expect to be a goal up against united or Tottenham if your team isn't good enough, but they did, the problem is they fell apart later because there isn't anyone to guide them. I mean our captain is Azpilicueta for fucks sake, he is one of the best players in this world but he's not a leader, did you ever seen him trying to gear up Christensen or Courtois after their mistakes against Barcelona? He just isn't meant for being a leader. We have too many good players who play for their own well being and can't give any attention to maybe help their teammate who is probably not in the best of conditions Now as to why this is in the Conte thread, leaders are not born, they are made. This is quite a young squad, it was up to the manager to convert them into a squad rather than a team of brilliant individuals, and not only has he failed miserably, he is the most fuck all amongst them. Before new signings we need a manager who could instill confidence and passion that has been long lost amongst these players.
  9. Thibaut Courtois

All this discontent around Courtois, still I'll never in my senses play Willy, he doesn't look confident, just gives everyone around him the willies.
  10. The Conte Thread

Everyone understands this view point that he didn't have the players to finish in the top 4, but that's not why most of the people have started disliking him (I think atleast I'm speaking for myself), you might be discontented that you don't get the players you wanted, but you don't go moaning about it every week, you still have a job, you go out and do it, the Manager instilled confidence in the players the last season, this season It's just the sense that these guys aren't good enough, granted you might not be too happy about the condition at the club, but you can do loads better than giving that ideology to the players and cutting a grumpy figure.
  11. 3. Marcos Alonso

Nobody has ever downplayed his commitment, just his ability to be a LWB. The basic requisites for a LWB for me are Good crossing, speed, Defensive ability, tracking back etc. Alonso isn't too good in Defensive positions, and neither has the speed or agility to be a wing back, the goals and his attacking vision are a great thing to have obviously, but this really shouldn't mask his other inabilities. Of course you don't need to have a World class player in every position, but you do need someone who'll atleast fit into the position, and his abilities qualify him more as a poacher rather than a wing back.
  12. Eden Hazard

I think with Hazard the case is more with his thinking rather than his abilities, for me he is the best dribbler in the world with no exceptions, yet he doesn't often put it good use, even while Willian has largely limited ability in dribbling as compared to Hazard, whenever he gets the ball, he tries to run at defenders with it, trying to make chances, with Hazard the case seems more of making the passing look beautiful rather than of any good value. I know Hazard is the last of our problems, just something I think he should work on
  13. 4. Andreas Christensen

His passing is too poor to become a holding midfielder really, the lack of ball playing defenders is one of the major reasons we fail so poorly against high pressing sides
  14. Thibaut Courtois

Come on guys, I know Courtois was horrendous in the match yesterday, but he does hardly put a foot wrong. This might be the first match in many which I think could be blamed on Courtois for a loss. All of you are just looking for a reason to hate on him because he has a big mouth in public, but so does Hazard, he was also horrendous yesterday. Yet when it comes to Hazard, the case suddenly becomes about not having good enough team mates. Atleast Courtois took it on himself and didn't shy away from criticism, could have just gone there like Hazard did with Conte and blame his poor performance on someone else.
  15. 18. Olivier Giroud

He has been in the premier league for a long time, it's not like he's an unproven quantity, his hold up play and vision has always been amazing and probably one of the best in the game, but he just won't score many goals and that's why he could never become a top team striker, he isn't the most clinical in front of goal, and we'll just have to accept that.
