    Who's darling?

Show me one person from this forum that wants Willian starting for Chelsea.

It's 5 am the next day and I'm still raging over Willians pathetic performance yesterday against Leicester. Wanker.

By the sounds of it he's doing the exact same thing he did to us and rage quitting because he actually has to fight for his place instead of having it handed to him.
It was one of the many reasons i was happy to see him leave and fundamentally didn't want him back under any circumstances, he thinks far too highly of himself and unlike a Zlatan or CR7 doesn't have the talent nor the attitude to back it up.

Azpi is such a bad crosser...

Funny you mentioned Luiz to lead the team when he was playing like his typical headless chicken self last night.
Organizing/Leading the side defensively is much easier for a player when there's proper defensive organization. Otherwise, if the game becomes chaotic like last night, you'll left with players running around aimlessly trying to plug the holes and needing them to make the correct decision every single time and that is something that shouldn't be happening at this level.
I'd be wary of saying "Rudiger and Kante will improve us defensively when they return" because if there's no cohesive, proper defensive organization in this side, then the team is bound to fail regardless. It's up to Lampard and his coaching staff to sort this out first and foremost.

We are a mess defensively! Everyone just seems to be running around and there's no like proper defensive organization!

Luiz gave the corner away and is at fault for the goal. Dreadful performance from him

I only count when they lose.
  9. guddy6969 liked a post in a topic by Pizy in 22. Christian Pulisic
Hope Frank doesn't play it safe by starting the seasons with Willian and Pedro as our starting wingers. As was mentioned, this season will essentially be a "free hit" where we surely won't be competing near the top of the table so there's no point in using the same stake, average attack.
This season's should be all about bedding in young players and establishing a set way of playing. Take the risk of starting Pulisic from opening match and letting him earn his place right away.
Seeing a front 3 of Giroud, Pedro, and Willian for the first couple of months as Lampard gets his feet under him would be so lame.

No excuses here. I honestly don't care who plays, because this is the easier of the next 2 matches. If the players need a rest, they should get it this time.
Of course it is crunch time, so can't relax and/or rest too many players, but something's gotta give.
Scoring goals is the concern of course, so perhaps RLC needs a start more than anyone esp since this is a home game against weak opposition. Prob the better one for Odoi to play since there is less need for defense work.

Trough the legs again 😆 1-1 against real

Never, completely disagree, Emerson had fuckall to do with that loss, and he looked twice the player La Tortuga is  his last start before that.
    Alonso is pure shit.
I want him off our team this summer. He is a massive weakpoint.
He makes Sarri look like a stupid fool for saying he is almost the best fullback in Europe. Like short bus stupid.
  14. guddy6969 liked a post in a topic by Vesper in Chelsea 5-0 Huddersfield
Couldn't disagree more, he was BY FAR our worst player on the pitch, he was burnt over and over, only reason we didn't see it on the scoresheet was because Huddersfield have one of the worst offences in the Big Five leagues
    He contributes nothing of value

The fact we are getting exactly the same wild swings in performances under two very different managers in two successive season, therefore pre-dating Sarri’s time here, strongly suggest he’s not solely to blame.

Maurizio Sarri has attempted to explain why Callum Hudson-Odoi was omitted from the matchday squad to face Bournemouth last night. We will not be dwelling too much on this defeat through fear of what it would do to our mental stability. The worst defeat of the Roman Abramovich era to date came in a season […]View the full article

What if after all this fanfare and waiting.........he fails his medical and kills all three deals.

    Sir super Frank
  22. guddy6969 liked a post in a topic by Vesper in Gonzalo Higuain
Who has Sarri improved on our team? Do tell. Luiz maybe, but he was always capable of long bomb passing. Hazard, after a bright start, is in utter regression. He has fucked up Kante badly. Rudiger was already decent at CB. Ampadu hardly plays and CHO is leaving more than likely. Kepa doesnt count. Most of the rest of the team, Jorginho included, is in shambles atm.
So, no, he has most definitely NOT improved the team.

not watching this, it will be garbage. Giroud losing the ball 800 times, willian ruining every attack , luiz launching long balls to no one, alonso getting caught out.
