It's not like we didn't know this is coming but it a big surprise we're quiet on the market while selling big. We're currently missing 4-5 upgrades. Chalobah, RLC, Oina, Oscar, Matic (Bakayoko), Zouma (Rudiger), Diego (Morata) + maybe someone's in defense. So many players needed and it's almost August. We literally bought 3 players in 2 months.

I've been posting here for more than 6 years I mostly post on here when we lose. When we win I post a few posts and then I leave instantly. When we lose I get pretty upset. Today's loss was bad for me and I've been at the computer thinking about it for 6 straight hours since the game was played having done nothing much except having had lunch. Losses are upsetting and I post more when I'm unhappy. Not really a hater of the team but I feel there are genuine problems with the team and the board that are swept under the rug when we win. It's just the crunch end of the season and I'm starting to get nervous and hope we don't bottle the league.

I respect all the posters on here though, even the ones I disagree with. As long as we can respect disagree with one another it isn't too bad I think. The last thing I would want though is for this forum to turn into reddit where any genuine criticism are hidden away under downvotes and everything just becomes group think.

Some rumours Conte wants Pirlo to succeed Holland as assistant coach.
I would love this, Pirlo is such a great character, respected and very intelligent. Oozes class.
Would be unreal if we could form a future board of Conte, Pirlo and our legends like Lamps, Terry, Cole,...

    The fans aren't thinking straight.
    16th in the league.
15 points out of 16 games.
Out of 16 games only 4 wins, 3 draws and 9 losses.
    1 point above relegation zone.
He needed to go. Quite frankly it was long overdue.
The history Mourinho had here and the support from the fans is what kept in charge for this long.

The type of football that Leicester are playing and walking the league with is counterattacking 4-4-2 football with ortho fullbacks. Watford who are encroaching on the CL places do the same. The traditional big clubs in the Prem are doing possession based football but it seems an unsustainable way to play, neither Arsenal or City in recent seasons have kept up their title challenges in recent years; Barcelona can do it because they're all in and have so many quality technical players that they can do like for like substitutions when their 11 is knackered, a winter break and a slower, less challenge tolerating league. Even their centre halves can probably dribble better than Diego Costa and many of his counterparts.
Possession based football can mean many things. Man Utd play possession football...with their back 4.

An interesting question to you here:Do you genuinely believe that Jose is more or less guilt free and that our bad showings doesn't have much to do with his tactics and how he sets up and selects the team? Do you actually believe the players are performing bad because they want Mourinho sacked? That's just too simplistic a view to take.
Many of us won't forget that we're here to support the club we love on Saturday either. I'm very sure of it. Yes, we love Mourinho and what he's done for the club but we love our club more, and we love watching us play regardless of what's going on. That's the attitude and atmosphere I hope to see at the Bridge on Saturday.

It remains to be seen IMO whether some of these players mentioned (i.e. Cesc and Diego) are actually done here. People mentioning that Hazard should be replaced are just being ludicrous and emotional. Pedro has just arrived...
Solutions exist within our squad to get the best out of some of these players that are underperforming - we don't need a massive 7/8 player overhaul at all. Our squad is decent - a couple of great additions will turn it into a great one.

seems that we are negotiating with Juande Ramos. If this is true, all our board members should immedietely reach in their letter of resignation. we could pick up a tree and put him on the touchlnie instead of Hiddink or Ramos- would be the same effect. unbelievable handling by our club. Roman has completely lost it. Its okay to fire Mourinho,we have been awful for 1 and a half year- but if you do this, you have to get another and maybe better coach. I dont see many available. Pep wont join us, Ancelotti going to Bayern- maybe Simeone, but he is much alike Mourinho in terms of style of play etc. Dont see any sense replacing Mou with Simeone...
Seems like our club will be in trouble for quite some time

"It's hard. All last season I did phenomenal work and I brought them to a level that is more than they really are."
For this statement I have absolutely no words.
How can any manager say that is beyond me. If one has betrayed anyone its Mourinho and his little games about playing tall and experienced players and all the bullshit he said.
How about playing youth including RLC for who he said he will play, how about benching shit players and playing those who actualy perform. How about giving certain young players a chance instead of destroying their confidence. How about changing tactics that actualy work. How about stop bullshiting and complaining and instead work things out. Talk to players and not fucking around with substitutions and lineups.
Players are playing shit indeed but Mou is talking as if they are only problem. He is as much of problem as the players. Funny how when first crisis came he said that he is greatest chelsea manager ever and when second crisis came he said he is alone responsible for title last year. Everyone was important last year players and him. And same is this year.
By the look of things, we could soon lose quite a few top top players like Hazard and Matic and no one still knows what is going on. Mou says everything is ok for half year now. How the fuck is everything ok? We play like crap, players dont give two fucks in PL. Its not even the results. Its the approach.
Matic went from realy good game vs porto to realy shit one vs leicester for example. He just jogged yesterday not giving single fuck. Something is wrong, everyone can see that. Just clear that out. If players dont give fuck about PL anymore but only CL, then I dont understand why Mourinho doesnt field 11 players who actualy want to play in PL like Remy, Kenedy, RLC, Baba etc.

Haazard was equally piss-poor. atrocious game from him. jogging around, not caring, no impulses, really embarassing performance. Hazard is as far away from Messi and CR as the Mars is from planet earth.

To make things worse, in the last 20 league games Chelsea won by more than 1 goal margin only twice !
Yet some people still couldn't believe that there's a problem. We were MOANING apparently and too attached to made up concerns.
There's one thing, this one week to prepare really is one big myth, right ? We had great weeks apparently, when work couldn't be better yet I can't see anything new on the pitch. Were the offensive patterns even trained ? I don't think so. Nothing new at all. Are we sure players don't receive whole week off after matches ? Because that surely were the most wasteful weeks in training recently. Zero innovation even in set-pieces which is minimum you can expect.
And what about playing with 3 CBs and 2 strikers from the start ? Apparently that was an option but can't say that I saw more organization in these 25 minutes than from randomly throwing two players upfront.
Most on here were pleading Jose to bring some attacking coach to learn a few new patterns of play. Jose is the best when he prepares players to commit to the cause but creativity and patterns of play are out of his reach. We can see it clearly now.
And last thing is this so-called pressing. That is the most disappointing thing. I don't know why we even bother. As disorganizing as it is, it also further disrupts team shape. Everyone should stay in the low block if you don't do things properly. Because when half team do individual pressing and other stay lower then it's counter productive.

If Kevin is going for £60m surely £70m for Pogba isn't that extortionate?
