  1. Spurs - Chelsea

So 6 at the back? I approve
  2. Chelsea 2-3 Burnley

So we have the total of one central midfielder in the squad against Spurs next weekend...crazy how we have gotten ourselves in this situation.
  3. Danny Drinkwater

Has Barkley ever played in a midfield two? Always seen him as an attacking midfielder.
  4. Danny Drinkwater

Ofcourse he's not, but look at it from leicesters point of view. They dont want to sell one of their regular starters who is on a longterm contract, and they would have to find a replacement within 3 weeks. Not to mention they would probably be forced to pay a hefty sum for whoever they replace him with.
  5. Danny Drinkwater

Decent as 4th choice midfielder, worked well with Kante before, and English. The price is crazy (even for this market) but Leicester doesnt want to sell and I can understand their high price tag.
  6. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Would be a great signing, he's quite versatile and can play winger, wingback and cm. Also it would be good to get some more English/ hg players.
  7. Alvaro Morata

I'd prefer Belotti or PEA but it's good to see Conte getting his prefered target if this happens.
  8. Nathaniel Chalobah

Sad too see him go, probably should've gotten more chances last season but I can't blame Conte after winning the pl. I assume we will either keep Matic (doubt it since he's training alone etc) or buy another backup... No idea who that would be tho. Also it feels like we're letting go of homegrown/English players one by one now, too lazy to check the numbers atm but I guess we're good for now?
  9. James Rodríguez

Never said that, but that is what we've been playing and probably will start the season with. Even if we go for 3-5-2 or something similar we would somehow have to fit Eden into it, not to mention that Fabregas would probably be involved. Just saying Im not sure where he would play in that scenario, but hey if Conte really wants him he'll probably have a better idea than me. But I doubt we will sign James.
  10. James Rodríguez

He's a good player, feels like a better version of Oscar. But in the same way wouldn't he have the same problem as Oscar in not really fitting in the 3-4-3, bit too slow for the wing imo. Then again I haven't seen him play that much this season and might be completely wrong.
  11. Dominic Solanke

Off to Liverpool it seems. Guess thats better than Celtic, atleast in terms of money for us (?). Strange move imo, should've moved to a smaller club, doubt he will get much more game time at pool. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/30/liverpool-to-sign-dominic-solanke-after-striker-turns-back-on-chelsea-england

    Congrats to Huddersfield!
  13. 19. Diego Costa

I'm actually quite happy if he stays, rather keep Costa than spend 100m on Lukaku. As long as Costa keeps his head down and stop looking for a transfer away in the next transfer window again.
  14. Chelsea 4-3 Watford

Get in! I just thought how amazing it would be if JT scored tonight! haha
  15. Chelsea 4-3 Watford

Great to see some fringe players getting a start. Wonder if Ruben is injured, he's not even on the bench. Also good to see JT ofcourse!
