  1. Southampton 2-3 Chelsea

Well, it was nice to finally get back to winning ways against Southampton it wasn't looking good when went 2-0 down. Especially after dropping points against West Ham the previous week I actually felt that was coming as soon as chicharito came on. We haven't been very good defensively as of late and he has a good scoring record against us so I had a feeling that he was going to score against us. Other than that it was nice to see that Tottenham and Arsenal lost. The former will keep our hopes of qualifying for the champions league alive and the latter has opened up another gap between us and Arsenal.
  2. Chelsea 1-1 West Ham

We probably will as we have bounced back against a few of the lesser sides this season. But if we score I probably won't celebrate due to our inability to see out games.
  3. Deadline Day!

Maybe so, but it's not looking too good for us at the moment. Yes, we did make some good signings in the early part of the transfer window, but to have not brought in anymore more players since then is what's so frustrating. Especially when you take into account that we still need cover in certain positions.
  4. Leicester 0-3 Chelsea

They've actually been pretty good at home this season. As someone has already mentioned they beat Manchester City at home and they have drawn with Arsenal at home as well. The only teams that have beaten them at home are West Brom and Everton. Taking that into account in addition to the fact that we have beaten them by 3-4 goals in two competitions this season. I believe that this game will be a lot tighter than the previous 2. So I think that this will be won by a single goal margin.
  5. Spurs 2-0 Chelsea

You're correct, he has been training with the team for a couple of weeks now. But he wasn't eligible to play for us again until the transfer window re-opened.
  6. Spurs 2-0 Chelsea

Am I allowed to post links here? if so, it would be wonderful to beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane again. Because we have only beaten them there in just 1 of the last 10 meetings. Our last win there was when we beat them 4-2 under Roberto DI Matteo. I'll always remember that game that for how Juan Mata owned Kyle Walker in the above video it only shows how Mata got his revenge. It leaves out the moment what the moment when Kyle Walker followed Malta to the touchline and booted Mata and the ball off the pitch.
  7. The English Football Thread

As much as I hate to say it, I think Liverpool will win that game because Manchester City haven't beaten Liverpool at Anfield in years. The last time they beat Liverpool at Anfield was in the 2002-2003 season. Records like this will be broken at some point which is why I backed City to beat them there in the last two seasons but they let me down.
  8. Alexis Sanchez

According to this Alexis Sanchez will be staying at Arsenal.
  9. The English Football Thread

So Alexis Sanchez isn't going anywhere if one Arsenal fan is to be believed. His reasoning for this was that Sanchez gets such great hugs at Arsenal so he wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Lol.
  10. Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea

I'm very pleased with that hard fought win, although it came at a price. That being the suspensions for both Costa and Kante. I know that Costa has been ridiculously good this season. But it will be nice to see Michy get a run out for a change he's been rather unlucky to have not played more games. The loss of Kante will be tremendous though, because I don't think we have anyone on the team that can do what Kante does for us. So it will be interesting to see what Conte does for the defensive midfield area for the Bournemouth game. He'll probably go back to the tried and tested partnership of Fabregas and Matic. I could totally understand that although it would be good to see Chalobah in there as well.
  11. Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea

It most likely happened to him at West Ham and Charlton as well because his teams go on VERY bad runs. Here are his stats that were recorded until the end of last season. http://www.thestatszone.com/articles/should-alan-pardew-be-under-more-pressure-at-crystal-palace
  12. Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea

Only because of their defence they're actually in the top 5 for goals scored this season. 13. Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea

Crystal Palace have scored the most goals out of any team that isn't in the top 4. So unlike the last game we may need more than one goal to put them away. On the plus side, they have only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 21 Premier League games.
  14. Man City 1-3 Chelsea

@Fernando MOTD is certainly an option but Goals on Sunday should also be considered. Chris Kamara and Ben Shepard are much more impartial on that show than the pundits on Match of The Day when it comes to us. I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that someone at BBC hates us. It would certainly explain why Chelsea related incidents are treated differently to that of other clubs. I haven't seen it myself but judging by this post they appear to be up to their old tricks again.
  15. Man City 1-3 Chelsea

First of all I'm ecstatic with our win and I'm very happy with what Conte has done to our team. And I'm equally as happy with the red cards because it makes up for previous games against City. The 3-0 defeats to them last season were very difficult to accept. In one of those games Fernandinho should've been sent off for kicking are players off the park. But he didn't get sent off so he went on to score the winner at the Etihad. And as for that dirty little bugger Aguero that red card makes up for the fact that he once two footed lunged David Luiz and only got a yellow card for it. This was in an FA Cup game back in 2013.
