  1. Filipe Luís

Good game from Luis...he's already making the best of his opportunity in the PL. Awesome link up plays and runs forward adding tremendously to our attack
  2. The Pub - Discuss Anything

Thanks for the drinks CHOULO19 Where is the food people I'm hungrrrryyyyyy.
  3. The Pub - Discuss Anything

I'll bring myself to the party (since I'm apparently narcissistic). I'm here and waiting. Bring drinks, bring food, let's get this party started in heeerrre
  4. Cesc Fàbregas

I must say when I first heard of us signing him I was a bit apprehensive, thought he might have been another "has been" like Torres was for us. He has set out to prove to everyone he still has it because he still does. You go Cesc!! I'm behind you 100%
  5. The Pub - Discuss Anything

Awesome news! I'm out of official university life (soon) Graduating my Msc with a distinction **Party up in here*** Wack news! I sign up to do Spanish (like what the heck!!! You were almost out!!!!) and I have a test tomorrow I have yet to study for.
  6. Cesc Fàbregas

I like Ozil as a player but he's far from the complete midfielder. He often makes good runs off the ball and can pick out a good pass but he has nothing on Fabs
  7. Petr Cech

Don't think anyone can fault him for that. Best of luck to him (and hopefully he doesn't pull a Lampard on us)
  8. Cesc Fàbregas

I'm sure it boosted his ego to shut down Ozil for the Ars match. A wonderful F** you to Wenger

  10. Frank Lampard

I don't know about anybody else but I felt betrayed when Lamps scored that goal. The only thing that helped was that he didn't celebrate. His interview after was a little heartening but his actions are speaking louder than his words.
  11. Frank Lampard

This news is seriously pissing me off!! It's a job to him and apparently that's the only thing he's considering at the moment. How it affects him because he seriously can't be thinking of Chelsea and its fans because this is a kick to the teeth.
  12. Romelu Lukaku

Yes he did get games last season but the striker situation was different by miles. And that still wasn't in his favor much. Chelsea never had much faith in Lukaka even then, understandably he's young and still needs refining. So again it comes back down the fact that he wasn't guaranteed much of a chance here. To narrow it down to his will to fight is a bit demeaning to Lukaku imo
  13. Romelu Lukaku

Why fight for something that's not going to happen? Sturridge fought against Torres who isn't considered by many to be a good striker anymore. What would Lukaku do against the likes of Costa, Drogba and Torres! Of course he would "run away" to a place where he is almost guaranteed to be picked.
  14. Romelu Lukaku

They could....but seriously which youth player got much a serious chance recently. You could probably argue Courtois but who else. Yeah Ake got some games but most are on perpetual loans without much of a shot at breaking into the first team. One can argue that is because of their skill set. Sturridge had enough but still wasn't given a fair run and the same will be said of Lukaku. Did they have the drive to fight? Probably not enough and it's probably because their chances seemed bleak to them so they moved on to where they would got chances.
  15. Fernando Torres

We are never getting rid of this dude!!! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9401753/transfer-news-jose-mourinho-confirms-fernando-torres-will-stay-at-chelsea
