  1. The European Leagues & Competitions Thread V2

These are [ ] brackets:), those are speech/quotation marks " " 😂😂😂 I have nothing else to offer, except grammar
  2. The Mourinho Thread

No that was the last server migration IIRC - forum is much older than that
  3. Southampton 0-2 Chelsea

Has all been said on previous 4 pages absolutely delighted and buzzing about our performances - no longer do I dread the weekend and those fking Chelsea memes on my FB wall Its just so nice to see the players smiling and happy. This would never be allowed under Miserable Mou! Keep it up Mr Conte - just make sure we get a Top 4 finish - maybe the catalyst for this change were those bizarre rumours about him close to being sacked!!!! Whatever idiot did that - thank you Sir
  4. 10. Eden Hazard

See this is what annoys me. Hazard has a bad game - loads of posts Hazard has a good game - couple of posts i have been critical in the past - but he's on fire at the moment and loving life under Conte! Let's give the lad some credit!
  5. Westworld

Yeah really enjoying it The plot is really good and you have to pay attention to the small details
  6. Marco Verratti

That would be fantastic - dreams are seldom realised
  7. 27. Andreas Christensen

I think we need to take the positives - we have an exciting player with lots of potential i trust Conte to integrate him into the team - we can do this slowly - but isn't it great that we don't have to spend £60 million on a defender?
  8. Very delicious

Manukau honey - genuine stuff is considered really good for its healing properties. Bees are essential for pollination of flowers. Also anybody suffering from hay fever should consume small amounts of 'locally produced' honey - it helps build up a resistance to the local pollen. Plus it's just so delicious 😀 For something really funny google Bear Grylls and honey - nice YouTube of it 😂😂😂
  9. Chelsea 4-0 Man United

I'm a little late to the party on here - but WOW! i haven't had a Sunday like that for years I love how we are playing as a team and with smiles on our faces. I absolutely love how Conte has come in - checked the players out in their formation and then decided - nope, we need to do it my way. I'm sure at first the players were a little concerned - but this should help them buy into his management style. How refreshing after AvB and Mou! Hazard is like a new signing - Matic has swapped back with his useless brother and Moses - this guy is on fire! We all know Iva needed to be dropped but Conte has done it so delicately it's unbelievable! I think United fans are harsh on Pogba - he's being asked to do what Eden did under Mourinho and it just doesn't work with these younger players. Pogba is not a defensive midfielder. I would have Pogba here in a heartbeat - but not for £100 million The way Conte has got the team of 'traitors' and 'has beens' playing is great I'm not getting carried away - Top 4 was and still is my ambition- as long as the players give their all - that's all I can ask. As for Mou - I'm really sorry for the guy - he's just so 1 dimensional now it's unreal - even Stevie Wonder knows Carrick should be playing... It's super sad seeing him like this - but it's his choice to change and he won't so he will reap what he sows. KTBFFH
  10. The Board

    Wish it was
  11. 30. David Luiz

Yup TalkSport had a phone in this week on exactly that - was Adrian Durham's show. I ignore them - I don't need their analysis - I have eyes of my own 😂😂😂 i actually thought Pedro should have got a shout for MOTM - it was like he had stolen the Russian Olympic teams breakfast - the guy was on a mission. Will always respect a player that gives 100% - I can ask no more! I love the fact we are playing with pride and passion - I almost see the results as secondary, just been a while since we did this - long may it continue
  12. 15. Victor Moses

Indeed - even Pedro looked a handful
  13. The Conte Thread

To be fair - we do have a squad suitable for hoof and run 😂😂😂
  14. The Conte Thread

Fair point - but our loan style is haphazard to say the least and not really helping any players break through - I guess that is linked to the first team manager spot being a merrygoround every season
  15. 24. Gary Cahill

The guy is just a bellend full stop! Just ignore him and your life will be instantly better 😂😂😂
  16. The Conte Thread

This is true! We cannot keep expecting miracles - the club has been badly run for ages and we are now reaping what we have sowed. We need to identify a football philosophy (it pains me to say, as Man City have) and then shape the club , Acadamy, coaches and players to suit that philosophy. The constant chopping and changing is doing us no favours! I believe this might actually be a reality under Conte as long as Roman can keep his itchy finger buried somewhere!
  17. The European Leagues & Competitions Thread V2

Mate huge freak storm - missus plane was diverted - it was chaos everywhere planes landing all over the place!!! it was also 34.2 degrees today, hottest September since 1911
  18. 19. Tammy Abraham

Not sure it's all about shots - being in the right place at the right time is a great attribute the amount of times I scream at our senior team - we never leave anybody on the penalty spot in opposition box - the amount if times the ball breaks there is unreal Lampard and Scholes had it - let's hope TA does too - would be amazing to finally have a diamond of a player from the Acadamy
  19. 19. Tammy Abraham

Gary Lineker made a living from just that. Technique can be taught - anticipation and positioning is a natural thing If he has it - we could be looking at a real gem for this club - would be so nice
  20. Michy Batshuayi

Whilst funny - it does paint a shitty picture of our teams 'passing' abilities - we have loads in there that are rubbish
  21. The Mourinho Thread

I was 100% behind him leaving Chelsea - quite a few good people got banned for sharing my views. But let's face it - he has been a phenomenal manager and will always rank as one of the greatest. His achievements are second to none. However, the world keeps turning and Jose hasn't moved as quickly - his brand of football is fast becoming obsolete and the antithesis of what people want to see. People now want free flowing attaching football with lots of goals, not a 1-0 win. That's why so much money is changing hands. You could blame Mou - but that's life, older you get the more obsolete you become. Yes, I have slated him - but he has been there done it and worn the T-Shirt and I absolutely loved him first time round - he will always be The Special One - for those great years.
  22. The Mourinho Thread

Hahaha I saw that 😂😂😂 reap what you sow - hope Jose bankrupts them, at this rate that will be January!!! Waiting for his little horse comments 😂😂😂
  23. Oscar

I still think he is bang average and nowhere near the level we need Hes just faded away - after the CL goal I thought what a player and my hopes were high that we had plucked a gem out of nowhere. Now I just think - oh it's Oscar - bet he fucks up this simple pass and guess what he does The guy obviously has skill and ability - it has to be a mental issue - I'm just not sure he has 'vision' or 'anticipation' in his locker - that's what sets the great players apart from the average. He just doesn't seem to be decisive when he gets the ball - he always seems caught in two minds. I wonder if a sports psychologist could re-train him? I would love him to have a barnstorming season, for me to eat my words and to see this thread implode - but most of all because it would guarantee us CL...
  24. The Conte Thread

Exactly and @Tomo great point well made. That's what made Utd so successful under Fergie - they never gave up - ever! I think Conte knows this and come the end of the season, we will see a Chelsea team capable of fighting for 95+ mins. I like how he has motivated the team, his pressers and all round attitude. To think some are unhappy with him just defies belief
