Lads, Chilwell is an immediate upgrade on what we have at the club at the moment. He is PL prooven.. playing at a very decent level. As long as this deal doesn't prevent Havertz or other deals going through, who gives a fuck how much he costs.

This has potential to become one of the best attacks in the history of football.
I expect Havertz and Pulisic to fight for Ballon d Or, Werner to be top5 in Golden Boot race for years and Ziyech is still there and I hope he can have Bruno effect on us.
And I still have hope CHO can go on Sancho level.

Please no. They are likely gonna be the league's worst side next season.

I mean, he was brilliant against us, Spuds, Real Madrid, Juventus and others. I don't think he'll struggle against mediocre English sides. If anything, I expect Ziyech to be even better here since he will be playing with better teammates.
Even if he isn't scoring a lot his passing ability is light years better than Willian's is so he should be much more influential in our attack.

I'm talking about last summer when he was available.
The reason why the comparison to Klopp is made is because Liverpool's early Klopp teams bare similar resemblence, promising attacking plays and some excellent games which pointed at an excellent projected end product but didn't have the consistency or defensive nous in the side to trouble any of the big ones and it led to many games where they dominate yet still drop points.
There's no guarantee Frank will make the same jump into a title winning side but for a first season it's quite a similar situation in the sense that there's a lot of riddling inconsistencies but when they projected end product games have come about we've been a match for anyone as our performances Vs City and 3/4 of them Vs Liverpool show.

18 goals overall in his first season at Chelsea, while he is maybe the most hated Chelsea player of all time.

He outscored at least 5 seasons of Drogba when Drogba was here.

I hate when we lose pre season friendless, I also hate losing at tiddly winks and Monopoly...
I want us to win everything.

This is a proper cup tournament, not one a one-off game for a trophy like the Community Shield.
Since we are in the final, it’s kinda BS to say it doesn’t mean much, particularly it is the FA Cup. Lots of players, especially the younger ones, haven’t won a single trophy in their career and winning it would help give that winning feeling and breed that winning mentality in the team, much in the same way it did when we won the League Cup under Mourinho in 2004.

I think where some consideration needs to come into play is what if the likes of Ziyech and (hopefully) Havertz take time to adapt and adjust to the league? Similarly Hudson Odoi still has a lot of development. I think it's a risk to just let Willian walk if there's the chance to keep him if others expected to replace him have teething problems.
However we as a fan base view Willian, in my opinion he'd be first choice right winger still at every other club in the league bar Liverpool and City. So to have a player of that ilk within the squad shouldn't just be dismissed.
He also offers a lot of experience which could be important. Some of the players being talked about leaving - Willian, Pedro, Jorginho, Alonso, Giroud are amongst our most experienced players in the group and sometimes that needs to be leaned on just like Lampard did in the latter stages of this season. I would not want to simply let too many of them go all at once.
Another factor to consider is the condensed schedule we'll face next season. It will be tiring and gruelling to challenge on multiple fronts and we need the squad for it. Being able to use 5 subs still will allow Lampard far greater flexibility to use and rotate the squad and having numbers will be important (especially considering Pulisic and Hudson Odoi have had injury issues and Ziyech will be first year in the league). I think it's already benefited us since lock down having a strong bench to call upon.
Willian hasn't shown any deterioration in his physical attributes yet and hopefully being part of a rotation of the attacking players can keep him fresh and fit at that level for a while longer.
3 years will be too much in my opinion given his age, but I'd have no problem giving him a 2 year contract still.

We just were the better team. Wolves had something to play for. If Wolves won, they would have been confirmed to get at least Europa League next season. If Arsenal win FA Cup and Wolves fail to win Europa, Wolves will not be playing any European footy next season at all.

They have actually shut oppo down like that more times than our goal against collum suggests, just often their work was ruined by the first clean strike (in today's case would have been Jota's early in the second half) going in.
That's why I'm not as desperate for immediate upgrades for CB as most, attackers taking their chances and a goalie who does even the basics right will make a huge difference.

Mount played an absolute blinder and deserves MOTM but for me...
Kova was a close second to Azpi who was absolutely immense today.
Zouma was on his game too.
    Fanstastic performance all around.
Shout out to Willy too who was super composed from 0 to 90.

What a massive performance. I was so nervous before the game, but decently confident too that we will turn up. And how we did.
Let's take a moment and understand what we have acheived this season. We had the following things against us -
    1. Transfer ban
    2. Losing our (and PL's) best player to RM
    3. Paradigm shifting change in system
    4. Paradigm shifting integration of youth
And we still got top 4 in this league. It's was not all smooth sailing by any stretch of imagination, and ofcourse there is a massive learning curve here, but we still OVER- acheived.
    Regarding the game,
Zouma, Rudi were immense. Azpi was assured but made a couple of errors. Reece had another solid outing. Alonso was surprisingly untroubled.
Jorginho and kovacic controlled the game - the tempo, the pace.
Mount - MOTM and what a performance.
Giroud - well, before his goal, thought he was having a stinker, but such a well taken goal. Brilliant anticipation. When this transfer happened, was so unhappy, but so glad to have been proven SOOO wrong. Saved our season. Infact saved us the last season too.
Pulisic - shut down well by wolves. Everytime he got the ball, you could see 2-3 wolves players closing him down. Will have to learn to play against that. That's his future. World class players get that attention.
What a brilliant overall performance. Now for the FA cup and to give a decent account of ourselves in the CL against Bayern.
    Come on chelsea
