  2. The European Leagues & Competitions Thread V2

Absolutely imperious performance by Lewandowski. Brilliant to witness that...
  3. John Terry

Hard to say, but it might not actually be an ACL (worst case scenario...6-9 months out at the quickest) because they are usually the result of a twisting hyper-extension. JT's was essentially straight backwards...could be a minor ligament, could be a basic hyper-extension etc. Finger's crossed guys!
  4. Politics & Stuff

Im in the same boat... lesser of the two evils mate
  5. Oscar

Yeah! What a cheeky little comment. Good lad

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11670/8095341/Midfielder-Jack-Wilshere-returns-to-full-training-with-Arsenal-after-injury-nightmare Jack Wilshere back to full training after almost 15 months on the sideline. Can't say I'm excited for arsenil or anything, but I'd love to see him back in the rotation for England.
  7. 15. Victor Moses

I was speaking based on what I saw on Saturday. If what you say is the case, he looks to have strengthened that aspect of his game. He had a good shot and two dangerous crosses, namely the one that Hazard fluffed
  8. 15. Victor Moses

I was well impressed with him on Saturday. Lots of energy and determination...a real old school dropped-shoulder winger with two good feet and an eye for the final pass. Edit: Sweet squad photo
  9. 15. Victor Moses

He did on the wing what Ramires has not shown this season...effective dribbling, accurate crossing, use of both feet, and positive decision making. That being said, if Hazard converted that very first break we would've been praising Ramires because that play was made by his ball. But I think Moses can have an impact on this squad above just a substitue/squad player role. He's got a killer instinct
  10. The English Football Thread

Arsenil 4-1 up with two sad Soton own goals and an ace freekick from Podolski. Berbatov reminding us about his typical graceful penalty area skills 2-0 up for Fulham
  11. Chelsea Kits 2018/19

Why don't our PL kits have gold PL numbers? Swansea's home kit...
  12. The Pub - Discuss Anything

Did some surgery on my unibody macbook...proud of myself, these things are delicate when you open em up
  13. Oscar

Oscar lives here with D Luiz.
  14. The FIFA Thread v2

This. Definitely not the step in gameplay mechanics that 12 had over 11, but I'm still counting on the rest of the changes EA made to make it a worthwhile buy. The changes made to the game outside the actual football gameplay (player form updates, career mode, updated UT) look to be substantial changes that the demo can't show.
  15. The FIFA Thread v2

More than anything, the attacking intelligence makes use of formations that were slow and defensive in past fifas. A 3 at the back formation is tactically relevant, before they were unbalanced and vulnerable. The outside midfielders in a 442 have smarter movement and will link the midfield to the attackers instead of having to heave long balls in from the two central players.
