  1. General Transfer Talk

For me, this should be the squad. New arrivals in bold. Goalkeepers: Petr Cech, Sam Walker, Jamal Blackman Right-backs: Cesar Azpilicueta, Branislav Ivanovic, Todd Kane Centre-backs: John Terry, Gary Cahill, David Luiz, Tomas Kalas Left-backs: Ashley Cole, Ryan Bertrand Central Midfielders: Michael Essien, Oriol Romeu, Ramires, Oscar, Frank Lampard, Gylfi Sigurdsson Wingers: Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Marko Marin, Victor Moses, Juan Mata Strikers: Fernando Torres, Demba Ba, Didier Drogba (or any other older striker who can score a few goals while Lukaku is on loan)
  2. 4. Andreas Christensen

Wow, what a day it'll be for Christensen. I'm really hoping he gets a go, although I did expect Patrick Bamford to be on the subs bench seeing as how he's had a great season with MK Dons. Unless the rules prevented our loanees from being there... Dang.
  3. Mikel John Obi

Champions of Europe II: The Return of Bosingwa In this epic sequel to Champions of Europe I: The Top Drog, Bosingwa attempts to make amends with Chelsea fans for signing with QPR. How? By relegating them. However, the fans see through his ruse... He was actually trying to get enough money for a monobrow shave. And alas, Agent Monobrow takes over the body of Mikel for one last quest. To hog another European trophy and make sure he's remembered forever.
  4. Nathaniel Chalobah

Hull's so good that they'll play twice on the last day? Seems legit. Either that or it's actually meant to be "Watford beat Leeds"... ...
  5. Nathaniel Chalobah

Ahh, sarcasm on the internet! Well then, I agree!
  6. Romelu Lukaku

Great goal, nice to see Romelu scoring at this age. 19 and he's already smashed the Belgian leagues, and now he's pacing through the top tier of English football. Either get him back in our squad if we sell Torres, or send him out on loan to Swansea.
  7. Nathaniel Chalobah

I agree with the point about sending Chalobah to Watford next season when they get promoted (I just know they will). However, I disagree with your second point. Yes, he would fit in well but would you really want Nat to be the one to win the points for United that could potentially mean they win the title and we get 2nd place?
  8. Frank Lampard

I'm just happy I've been able to witness Frank live and the fact that he scored during one of the matches I've attended. Super Frank! <3
  9. Josh McEachran

Josh wasn't even in the squad so I'm assuming he'll either be coming back or he's being rested for next week. I just hope he comes back.
  10. Todd Kane

I'd love it if Todd became Azpi's back up in the near future, seeing as how he's a youth player of ours and we should really be promoting loyalty!
  11. 28. César Azpilicueta

    They practise cannibalism?
  12. Name Changes thread

If I could, I'd like a name change to Mr. Ziggles please - it's the name I use everywhere now, and this will be my first name change at TalkChelsea. Also besides, i'm celebrating my late 1 year anniversary by returning to the forums after a hiatus.
  13. The England Thread

For the game v Italy: Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Manchester City), Jack Butland (Birmingham City), John Ruddy (Norwich City). Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Steven Caulker (Tottenham Hotspur), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur). Midfielders: Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Jake Livermore (Tottenham Hotspur), James Milner (Manchester City), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Jack Rodwell (Everton), Ashley Young (Manchester United). Forwards: Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham Hotspur), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Theo Walcott (Arsenal).
  14. The England Thread

Fabio Capello reckons he would have done better than Hodgson in EURO 2012. I believe so too, he did well in the qualifiers and was finally getting his team together but the FA are a bunch of brainless douches. :/ Okay, so Hodgson needs to start preparing his team for 2014 World Cup; bring in more younger lads and play PROPER ATTACKING FOOTBALL. Base it on possession. Also, play this team against Italy in August: The players in brackets are for substitutions. Rooney (Defoe) Chamberlain (A. Young) - Carroll (Welbeck) - A. Johnson (Walcott) Lampard (Rodwell) - Parker (Barry) Cole (Bertrand) - Cahill (M. Dawson) - Terry (Jagieka) - Jones (Smalling) Hart (Butland)
  15. Kevin de Bruyne

Is it me or does Kevin look a bit like Brock Lesnar..
