  1. Coutinho

Coutinho would fit Sarri's system like a glove but the possibility of it happening is around 0%.
  2. Gonzalo Higuain

Fat Boy Gonzalooooo! Welcome to The Bridge!
  3. Gonzalo Higuain

'Transferitis', much better than Special Juans 'Milanitis'.
  4. Nicolo Barella

Strong links with this guy recently.
  5. Petr Cech

Congratulations Petr you have reached Legendary status at Chelsea F.C.
  6. Gonzalo Higuain

18 month loan with option to buy. Good business. SportItalia's @AlfredoPedulla claims there is an agreement between Chelsea and Juve for the 18-month loan of Higuain with a buy-out option set in 2020. https://t.co/qdV5faGhEs
  7. Sarri But Not Sarri Thread

A long time ago I came to accept that Chelsea fans are hard to please. I even put myself into that bracket but I know when we are onto something great. I really do believe given the time, Sarri will produce wonders at The Bridge. Football has become such a fast paced entertainment these days. The sacking of managers. The buying and selling of players from club to club. Even enjoying the year when you win the title doesn't last long, it feels like the next season is straight upon us and the year before is a distant memory. So i understand why there is a lack of patience from the fans but It doesn't mean it isn't frustrating to watch.
  8. Sarri But Not Sarri Thread

Just watch. When do you see anyone in our team moving like that?? Except from Kante and maybe Pedro. Sarri made them play like that. Each of those players have sound technical ability and can see a pass with the first time ball. We have Broccoli head dilly dallying on the ball for hours and Ross Barkley ffs. You can see shades of SarriBall from the back at Chels but it's our attck that isn't replicating what Sarri don at Napoli. We just don't have the players. End of.
  9. Sarri But Not Sarri Thread

But that Barca team was the greatest team ever in my opinion. I do agree though, the game is over complicated at times. I just hope Uncle Sarri get's us playing SarriBall so we can all rejoice in playing pretty football at last. Our fans need to be more patient. They are never happy. Moan if we play like wankers but win. Moan when we lose and play like shit. Moan moan moan.
  10. Sarri But Not Sarri Thread

This was before the evolution of football. Before Tika taka and before the influx of foreign managers in the English game. Just look how Joses simple football holds up now. It's embarrassing.
  11. Sarri But Not Sarri Thread

Did you watch the whole game J? The second half they hung on by the skin of their teeth. If Spurs had their shooting boots on, they would have won that game comfortably. Barca under Guardiola was arguably the greatest team of all time and that was because they played in a system that was overwhelming even to Fergies United. OGS's United will be tested soon and trust me, they will be found wanting. They are riding the high of Joses departure which can propell any team to glory. Lol.
  12. Leandro Paredes

    Slower than Jorginho?
  13. 5. Jorginho

Sergio Biscuits has completed more passes for Barca than Jorginho has for Chelsea this season and only registered one assist. That's playing alongside some of the best attackers in World football in a tinpot league. Arguement over?
  14. 20. Callum Hudson-Odoi

Beyond bored with this now. I am soo dissapointed in CHO making these demands and stretching them out for this long. Just crack on and let us get on with our football.
  15. Gonzalo Higuain

I always thought Higuain came across as pretty slow but with excellent movement. Maybe I have underestimated his pace having read these two posts.
  16. Gonzalo Higuain

Imagine the 2 chances that fell to Willian and the chance that fell to Pedro from Alonsos cross had fallen to this guy. 4-1. I was worried about Higuains lack if pace but the way we play (high up the pitch agaisnt super defensive sides, due to our dominance in possession) it won't matter. Job done. Get this deal done.
  17. 2. Antonio Rudiger

It was but reading it back, i'm not even sure what I was getting at.
  18. 2. Antonio Rudiger

Manpe bro, it's water under the bridge. I have been known to lose my head easily too. Appreciate the apology.
  19. 2. Antonio Rudiger

For me Rudiger is in the bracket just below the top 5 CBs in the World. 1. Cahill 2. Smalling 3. Phil Jones 4. Lovren 5. Denis Odoi Then you have Rudiger.
  20. Chelsea - Newcastle

Have to say, I don't agree that it was a dull performance. Yes the first half was frustrating but the second half we came out swinging. If we took all of our clean cut chances then we would have won 3 or 4-1. I' not making excuses or anything and there were some hairy moments but it wasn't a dull performance as some are saying. Broccoli head actually had the half of his life in that 2nd. Fair play fuzzy head. Also the crowd were fantastic today. Great atmosphere from what I could make out.
  21. Chelsea - Newcastle

He tackles like his life depends on it.
  22. Chelsea - Newcastle

May I say, Rudiger is fast becoming my favourite player. I can't believe Broccoli head has actually started to play well after the HT whistle. Should have lobbed the GK though.
  23. Chelsea - Newcastle

About fucking time Broccoli head. You still have to go but thanks.
