  1. The Conte Thread

Come on mate, where the hell is this coming from? Normally i wouldn't even bother responding to such a post, but i remember you being one of the top posters in the forum. I am not criticizing you for not liking Conte, you have every right to believe whatever you want. But accusing him of something as ridiculous as that defies any logic.
  2. West Ham 1-0 Chelsea

Maybe the version you are using was designed by a redneck
  3. West Ham 1-0 Chelsea

I actually laughed when i was reading it because it was so fucking random and made no sense whatsoever, Don't worry it was more than obvious that you wanted to say bigger
  4. 4. Cesc Fàbregas

I don't know if he is the best in the league, but i can tell you with certainty that he is SO much more crucial than people in here give him credit for. I am neither blind nor crazy to believe that Cesc is not a very limited player and at fault many times, but whenever our team is clicking and playing beautiful football, i don't see any of his critics coming here and acknowledging how crucial he has been in those matches. Simply put, without Cesc our creativity is nonexistent, and that is not an exaggeration at all, the football we play without him is utterly boring and predictable. We can't just expect from a player like Eden to drop deep and start the attacks (something that we have seen time and time again when Cesc is not playing), that is a total waste of his talent. Eden needs to play right where he is playing at the moment. Sure, i would love to see an upgrade in the near future, but that is the useless board's job, not Cesc's. Till that time comes people should stop asking from him to do things that he cannot do, he is what he is and he will not become any better no matter how much we complain. P.S. I used to hate Cesc with a real passion and when we went after him i was 1000% against the move. After all this time has passed, i have to admit that i have never had such a big change of heart about anything in my life. And it is not just because of what he has offered to our club on the pitch, but also for his commitment and general ethos.
  5. 9. Álvaro Morata

One man's backheel is the other man's first touch (I still can't forgive myself for preferring Rom over Morata during the transfer window)
  6. 9. Álvaro Morata

That is the spirit of a true winner, the boy impresses me more and more each day, not only with his performances, but also with his attitude. To be honest my mates are still making fun of me because i was not the least excited when we first signed him to replace a big player like Costa. At least being so wrong never felt better. And by the way, i remember there were several posts near the start of the season that mentioned the resemblance of Alvaro's play with that of Torres, I don't know if they were supposed to be serious or funny, but i agree 100% with those, Alvaro does indeed remind me of Torres, but from his good old liverpool days. Maybe this time we got us the kind of striker that we thought we did when we bought Torres.
  7. Alex Sandro

Please, don't do that to me again. It was bad enough waiting a whole summer for fucking Sandro, now you dare to add Dybala in the mix???? Seriously though, in a dream scenario where we could buy anyone we wanted, those two would have been my first picks too. Man, what a team we could have been with those two...
  8. Stoke 0-4 Chelsea

That is a red card you bald cunt
  9. The English Football Thread

What the fuck did i just watch???? Why did you do that to me mate, when i clicked the video to play i was expecting to see some kind of parody mocking those wankers, not that crap. Video should have been called Damaged For Life, because whoever watches it will not be able to shake those images off for the rest of his life.
  10. Charly Musonda Jr.

Actually your assessment is quite fair, i doubt you will find many who know a thing or two about football that will disagree with you. Everything you said about his performance tonight is spot on imo, it wasn't anything spectacular IF you judge him by the standards of a finished product, or a professional footballer like you said. Well, Charly is not a finished product yet, he just had his first 90 minutes with us. Like many guys have said in numerous occasions, the most important factor for a young player's development is playing time, especially when the talent is granted, like in Charly's case. Tonight's match was the perfect chance for him to go in there and play against professional footballers and build up his confidence (the goal also helped a ton in that respect), which is exactly what he needs at this point. I think that most of the guys, including myself, were really happy with his performance not only because he showed he has the skills (which we knew anyway), but also the eagerness to stay here with us and work hard to prove that he deserves to wear the Chelsea shirt, instead of going somewhere else like Solanke. That for me is invaluable, i want to finally see young players who are willing to give everything they can to play for our club. The improvement in the aspects of his game that you mentioned, will only come through hard work AND gaming time. i think that staying here and working with Conte will help him become more pragmatic with his approach of the game. By staying here he can also train with world class players, and that is something that many disregard but imo helps a lot in the development of a young player He just needs to be given as many chances as possible to play.
  11. Charly Musonda Jr.

Very solid performance and his celebration was so emotional. He clearly wants to be a Chelsea player more than anything and his instagram post before the match showed how grateful he is for the chance he got tonight. I really hope we don't crush this boy's dream.
  12. 24. Gary Cahill

That is exactly why he needs to be protected though, this is no way of remembering him when he retires, especially since we are talking about someone who has contributed so much, like you said. Letting him play and being ridiculed by everyone in the world, even Chelsea fans, isn't something that honours him, is it?
  13. Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal

On any other occasion i would have agreed with you, but i think that this time you are massively exaggerating with your interpretation of how people reacted after the match. There was no overreaction whatsoever like you said in a previous post, nor was there any kind of uproar about the draw, exactly because of what you said about Conte. Every single Chelsea supporter trusts him and holds him in such a high regard, that is willing to forget and forgive any bad result, the perfect example being last year's cup final. Losing a big trophy to arsenal of all teams, was something unthinkable and unforgivable some time ago, yet everyone was willing to move past it very fast just because of Conte. I really doubt the reaction would have been the same if we had someone else in his place. The main focus of the vast majority of the posts i read after match was about the team selection, NOT about the result like you claim. Everyone was baffled by the starting eleven and with a good reason. Sure, Conte is allowed to have a bad day and make mistakes, but we have moved past the point of certain decisions being just simple mistakes, we are talking about things that are regarded as universal truths by now. Fabregas and Kante cannot operate in a two man midfield, especially against big teams. No matter how many times he pairs them together, it is never going to work. Even if Bakayoko was not fit to play for 90 minutes, i can't understand why Conte didn't start him and then substitute him after 60-70 minutes. About the selection of Cahill, i don't really have to explain much, it is just unacceptable. If Conte is being forced to play him against his will just because he is the captain, then he needs to put his foot down and refuse to do so. Everyone will back him up, after all noone is more important than the club even if he is the captain. I don't even want to think about the possibility of Conte selecting Cahill out of merit because then i will truly doubt his mental stability Again, i don't think that there is a reason for overreaction or over analyzing people's reaction, i find it perfectly normal for someone to have thoughts like those i mentioned above, Noone is calling for Conte's head or anything, everyone loves the guy.
  14. The Conte Thread

Conte fucked this game up big time. The saddest thing about the whole Cahill fiasco is that Conte is forcing me to dislike a Chelsea player and that is a feeling that i never, ever want to have about anyone, especially when we are talking about someone that has contributed so much during his career and is the current captain. No matter how crap Cahill is, it is entirely Conte's fault for playing him, it is that simple. And it is not only that his individual performance is abysmal, his inclusion affects the whole team in a vert negative way. It is clear as day that he makes everyone nervous, i don't think that there is a single player that trusts him.
  15. Kurt Zouma

I am sure that Cahill and Chiellini were technically just as raw as Zouma at that age. Other than that, i agree 100% with your post about the skillset of the modern centre back, though i believe that Zouma can for example work on his passing and make himself able to pass the ball forward instead of hoofing it, like he does now. All i am saying is that there is a lot of room for improvement, as long as he works really hard and stay injury free. EDIT : Something that i wanted to say in my original message but i forgot. We are judging a player's future with the assumption that we will play with 3 centre backs for the remainder of our life. I can easily see us going back to a formation with 4 at the back in the near future, in which case Zouma could be worth keeping around. Sending him on loan for a couple of seasons won't hurt anyone, i just want our club to show that they believe in him.
  16. Kurt Zouma

I don't mean any disrespect to your opinion, but i am really amused when people make such definitive statements about something over which they have absolutely no control. I certainly can't predict Zouma's future, but i can tell you a fact. Zouma is 10 times the player any of Cahil, Bonucci or Chiellni were at the age of 22. Many of you forget that we are talking about a centre back who is that young. Yes, his technique is not good, but this is something that a defender can easily work upon as he grows older, since it doesn't come in the form of dribbling or flair, like with attacking players. If we go on to sell Zouma and he manages to stay injury free, i can easily see us regretting it, just like with De Bruyne. He has all the tools to become a very good centre back, especially under Conte's guidance.
  17. 7. N'Golo Kante

Maybe he is still wondering if N'Golo is for real, i do too sometimes.
  18. 7. N'Golo Kante

My word, this guy was magnificent once again. I can't believe there are guys in here who don't rate him highly enough, he is easily in the top 4 - top 3 Chelsea midfielders in my lifetime, even though he has been here for only two seasons. At 26 years old i wouldn't change him for ANY midfielder in the world, him and Hazard are the two players we much keep at all costs if we want to reach a higher level.
  19. Deadline Day!

Don't worry guys, it is still early in the summer, we have plenty of time ahead of us.
  20. Virgil Van Dijk

More like Chelsea banging pool (among others)
  21. Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea

Emotions (and alcohol) are running really high at the moment, so at the risk of sounding ungrateful, this leaves a really, REALLY bad taste. I know winning the league was an overachievement and i am ecstatic about that and also about having a guy like Conte leading our beloved club, BUT losing a major trophy to motherfucking arsenal of all teams, well that i something i simply cannot handle. This has really fucked up the good feelings i had for this season. I fucking hate arsenal.
  22. Politics & Stuff

I am speechless, human stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
  23. Chelsea 4-0 Man United

Damn, i am still buzzing. I have really missed that feeling.
  24. Chelsea 4-0 Man United

    And for Roman too
  25. Chelsea 4-0 Man United

I haven't felt that good for a reaaaaly long time. Watched the match at a pub with my mate and we were the only ones supporting Chelsea. We didn't stop making fun of manure not even for a minute. Thanks to all the players and the coaching staff for making us feel proud for our club once again.
