Stunning and deserved Atletico goal. No doubt the best of the night.

Tbh im not too bothered with the other 4. If we go into 19/20 with any of them as starters then something is seriously wrong.

Let's take a moment together and laugh at Liverpool weren't they 3-0 up after the 1st half?

    You happy now?

We were underdogs after the first match in Napoli, Benfica yes, we weren't but Barca and Bayern we needed some of the biggest luck I've ever seen.

And finishing 1st we will end up with Real, Juve, Bayern, Shaktar, Sevilla, Porto.

We need 2 wins and Roma not to win in Madrid. Finishing 2nd we're going to end up in the last 16 vs PSG, Barcelona or Besiktas it looks like

He said 2nd best for while now, which is over the top IMO. Could say Salah is the best player in Europe on stats alone right now.

Looks to be stronger in recent games. Not getting brushed off the ball as easily as before. Needs to keep it up and great that he's continued his goalscoring form.
On a different note, slightly concerned about him suffering potential fatigue in the coming games. With Batshuayi out for a few games (he doesn't play a lot granted but still), he'll definitely be playing every game in coming weeks. Surprised Conte didn't take him off earlier.

    Totally agree
Luiz has been no more than average this season and his on pitch discipline that was there last season seems to have gone awry.  He was sometimes so far out of position he was in another postcode.
In my opinion, he had got too comfortable with his status and position in the team and maybe thought he was undroppable. This could be the boot up the backside needed to get him back to the Luiz of last season but it is totally down to him...no-one else....not even Cahill can be blamed for this one.
luiz is a talented footballer ....lets see if he has any gumption about him and work hard to prove to the staff and his team mates that he deserves a place back.
Those that say...he is a leader etc...he might be , but not a very good one. There is no way he should ever be captain of this team.... let him worry about his own game, nevermind worrying about others.
Also, this thing about 'the others players like him and he is a good laugh' etc etc...... I will just remind you...that Diego Costa was loved by all in the dressing room as far as we know .....and we all know what happened there

Looking at the table, the only major blip we had was losing to crystal palace. Our other losses were understandable( We had a red card at burnley, Mancity were better than us) if we won palace, we would have had 25 points, comfortably second and well in the title race (6 points behind) waiting for mancity to lose some form (they've already hit their peak performance wise and can only go down from here)
But 9 points is a little bit far, unless something dramatic happens (like another 13 match winning streak) But Conte has done well overall, contrary to what the media wants to portray.

Four Seasons on the Road will be the most significant period of the club's history post 2003 IMO.

That's your opinion and reasoning, fair enough.  The difference between you and Wright, Wilkins is i highly doubt they had any agenda in mind bar having a dig at the club. If Jake Livermore was from our academy they would have probably claimed he was better than Baka aswell.

He did create his own chance that game that Courtois did well to save and the way Mourinho sets up his teams in away games not surprised he's isolated, he's playing for 0-0 exactly like he did for us playing away. Morata before United didn't score for 6 games either, droughts happen. In that time he's had two assists and hit the woodwork twice.

Lampard does not rule out filling the vacant technical director role, but admits that being Chelsea manager would be his dream job

That would be great if he gets that role.
We need Chelsea man, and smart man. Lampard is that.

I don't mind the link but is it even remotely possible? I mean palace is in a relegation battle why would they even think of selling him?

As a player he has flaws but I'm a believer that plan b's and c's need to be specialists. Benteke is great in the air and decent holding up the ball.

Sandro would be great for us. Everton are fucktards this season, and I couldn't expect any player to show the slightest bit of good form at that club.
However, Everton wouldn't be able to get a replacement IMO, so i don't think they'd sell. To me though he has everything you want in a substitute striker: pace, he's direct, he's no-nonsense, he's a good FK taker, he's got a more powerful shot than any of our attacking players.
But - all that said. He'd be even better in a 2-striker system, playing alongside Morata. He consistently dropped deep for Malaga before taking on every player in the other team, a la Hazard. That's the sort of mayhem that would distract everyone from Morata, which is how Morata thrives.
