  1. Brighton 1-3 Chelsea

Werner looked classy, Havertz not so much. Hoping to see him at #10 soon. But, good thing about him - he really pressed them and worked hard in defense, stole a lot of balls. Also, James will be player of the season, I hope.
  2. Chelsea Transfer Pub

Exactly. I have a good feeling about this potential transfer.
  3. Chelsea Transfer Pub

    Come on Bayern!
  4. Chelsea Transfer Pub

Ok, this may sound stupid, but I did small research on Silva with the help of Fifa and PES ratings from history. He was fast, and I mean FAST defender. I get that he is 35 now, but he probably kept some of that pace even now and is faster or fast the same as an average 26-yo central defenders (faster than Dunk for sure).
  5. Chelsea Transfer Pub

Ok, no thanks. They would probably give him for less than 120, but that's not even close to 65 let's say. And his injury record is awful, he misses 10-15 games every season.
  6. Chelsea Transfer Pub

Why aren't we in for Gimenez? Is his injury record only concern? I'd give 65mils for him, he is only 25.
  7. Chelsea Transfer Pub

First, I mentioned that because someone else said that if we don't get Havertz, Aouar could be an option. Secondly, we are in a need of more productive midfielders (along with defenders and keeper) so I don't understand why would we spend money on Aouar. We are already filled with midfielders with lousy production rate, why get another one?
  8. Chelsea Transfer Pub

I don't understand how could Aouar be option for us? Isn't he player in Modrić's mold (just not that good ofc), that kind of type? Why would we need that kind of player and not some highly productive number 10, like Havertz? Assuming that Kovačić and Kante are worthy starters.
  9. I think it would be like asking him not to be him. Core of his genius is overthinking and being like that. Same as it was with Ronaldinho, dude was just careless and a bit crazy, it's sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit.
  10. 11. Timo Werner

If they get past PSG I'm gonna eat my shoe.
  11. Super Frank Thread

I think pivot of Kovačić and Jorginho gave us stability and balance and less job for defense. Yeah, Mount and Barkley give us more flair, but with defense this fragile and without Kante we should really force those two to play. Azpi-Zouma-Rudiger-Alonso really looks least bad of our all defensive combinations. We created many chances, so I think we are set offensively too, we were really lacking a bit of luck to score one of so many chances created. Giroud, Pulisic and Willian are undisputed in this moment if you ask me. If Frank is going to play this 4-3-3 formation, he should stick with this players, only question is if we play RLC, Barkley or Mount as most advanced midfielder.
  12. Chelsea 1-0 Norwich

Man United will play with mixed squad and we should too. Good thing is - our bench is much stronger than theirs. We have CHO, Mount, Abraham, James, Christensen, Barkley... Shouldn't really bother much about that game.
  13. Chelsea 1-0 Norwich

    Thank you very much!
  14. Chelsea 1-0 Norwich

    https://www.premierleague.com/news/1262217?fbclid=IwAR3XN0znFIN571GAVV9Et4hBKYeRPj-7yKOFoW2NWYd9OQvar-5GLnuwyxs What about this?
  15. Chelsea 1-0 Norwich

It was probably asked before so I am sorry - what happens if we and Leicester finish with same number of points? Is goal difference or head-to-head decisive?
  16. Chelsea Transfer Pub

Totally agree. I don't think Alonso is better than Kepa, I just think keeper's position is more important than left-back.
  17. Chelsea Transfer Pub

What do you guys think what is more important to us - to sign left-back or a keeper? I assume we can all agree that buying central-back is more important than those two...
  18. Chelsea 1-0 Norwich

    Fucking Bournemouth, GET IN!
  19. Sheffield United 3-0 Chelsea

Abraham should never again start a game this season. Also, play 3-4-3 when our defense is pure shit like these days (maybe not against Norwich, ok). GIROUD AND 3-4-3!
  20. Jadon Sancho

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have now emerged as potential frontrunners for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho. Frank Lampard is eager to bring the England international to Stamford Bridge while the 19-year-old, who grew up in Camberwell, South London, likes the idea of coming back home. Sancho had a breakthrough season last term. The 19-year-old made 43 appearances across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 19 assists. Jadon doesn't seem to be slowing this campaign either. In 24 matches so far, the winger has recorded a solid tally of 12 goals and 13 assists, including 9 goals and 10 assists in 15 Bundesliga fixtures. Despite such a young age, the former Manchester City Academy kid is already a regular for England. The wonderkid has won 11 international caps. In September, the attacker scored his debut goal for the Three Lions - a brace in the 5-3 win over Kosovo within the 2020 UEFA Euro qualification. https://tribuna.com/en/chelsea/news/3536535/ Not the best of sources claiming the story for now but well, it sounds promising by now. Sky bet has him on 5/4 for joining Chelsea. ... I think it would be great buy, he ticks all of the boxes and our 4-3-3 (Kovačić-Kante-Jorginho) with him would be deadly and balanced. Only downside would be less playing time for Pulisic-CHO-Mount, because I guess we won't be selling Willian.
  21. 10. Christian Pulisic

I always liked the idea of having one winger that is aggressive runner and executor (Pulisic) and one winger that is creator (Ziyech).
  22. Chelsea 2-1 Man City

Watch it. And try not to see spoilers, it was a crazy ass game!
  23. Chelsea 2-1 Man City

Kante could play as DMF but only against bigger ball-keeping sides. We lacked massively in building up from the back today, it would be suicide against smaller teams to have him there.
  24. Chelsea 2-1 Man City

I hope Pulisic will end up being player like Pedro, only faster (because he IS faster). Direct and always a threat to goal.
  25. Chelsea 2-1 Man City

Pulisic is a killer, really direct winger perfect for counter-attacks. Great in front of goal. Even that missed chance, you can just see his great movement and composure when in full speed, it's a shame it wasn't a bit stronger. Really love the guy.
