I'm sorry but this forum became unreadable with this Vespa girl literally spamming every thread... You really need to take it down a notch. No one wants to read these scouting reports of yours in each and every thread on the forum.
  2. Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea

I actually don't remember when Alonso was at fault for us conceding a goal, could someone refresh my memory so I would be able to understand why one of the best left backs in the EPL is constantly getting bashed here? Has his flaws, still is part of last season's team of the year and still is one of the most reliable players we have. He will be a starter and a deserved one at that.
  3. Disgraceful 'article'. Doesn't show this platform in the best light, to be honest, and it is not the first time.
  4. Mohamed Salah

Do you really have to ask? He is on a completely different level.

  6. Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Unbelievable it's 2018 and people still assess a footballing performance by possession stats...
  7. Watford 4-1 Chelsea

Actually if he played the whole 90 I believe we could have lost 4-1, I really do. They had enough chances in the first half hour with him on the pitch to make it 3-0, so I really believe we could.
  8. Watford 4-1 Chelsea

Mana definitely has a point. Maybe in hindsight I don't completely agree with that but yesterday I really didn't mind him getting that red card at that moment. Not just that he was useless (as always) in our build up play, he really sabotaged our game by gifting them clear chances. It's noticeable that the players don't pass him and ignore him on purpose when we attack, it's clear that he steps on Kante's toes when we defend. He spreads fear and insecurity throughout our back line and I really can't point out one good quality of his game. Wishing him to get a red card was not completely correct because we could bring someone instead of him, but because Conte would never replace him apparently, I would say that I prefer playing with ten men without him instead of eleven which include this awful fraud of a footballer.
  9. 33. Emerson Palmieri

This is not called "throwing light" on something. Throwing light is giving a professional and coherent interpretation of a players' attributes based on your opinion after you actually watched him play football. And yes, a full season as a starter for Roma is quite enough to obtain an opinion about a player. Clearly you never saw him in action so I'll just say - sometimes silence is golden. I haven't seen him play but after some intelligence work around Roma forums, they seem to be upset to lose him for such low price and they also say he is a very good prospect. Some even say he has world class potential. The general trend is that he is a very hard worker with some Brazilian flair on the side. I believe he will come good, just like other notable low profile defenders we brought in the last decade. Good luck Emerson!
  10. 3. Marcos Alonso

What are you even talking about? Alonso is a very good footballer, he was amazing for us last year and continues to provide the goods this term, even, if rightly so, he is a little bit burned out. The man is working his socks off every single game for the last year and can't even get the sheer acknowledgment for that from our fans. I have no idea what are your expactations from a left wing back but all in all I can assure you there are not many better than this guy. I am really not sure if your beloved Alex Sandro is better than him this season. Anyway, you don't need a world class player in every position and I think our LWB position is the least of our problems. Alonso needs rest and needs competition, but he is a good player and gets no recognition for his great service at this club, and really I'm quite tired of seeing people bashing him after every game (like really, what wrong did he do yesterday? he was slow?). Some of you here even try to take the credit off his goals because he is a wing back (?!)... Somehow only Chelsea fans see all these wrongs...
  11. Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal

I think Bakayoko needs a rest. Please?
  12. Alvaro Morata

Hope he does take 9 and restore its pride! The shirt that the king of Stamford Bridge wore is in no way cursed...
  13. Tiemoué Bakayoko

How can you block him? Been looking for this option for months!
  14. Alex Sandro

I mean really, who the fuck is this clown?! This is why I hate the transfer period, every smartass is shining and gets recognition...
  15. Romelu Lukaku

Are people really annoyed we couldn't get freakin Lukaku for 100 million pounds? You could mistake him for prime Ronaldo with the things I'm reading here... Embarrassment for the club? Get a grip. This could be a blessing in disguise.
  16. Antonio Rüdiger

Not the right arguement... There is a reason though why the great Manolas was only pursued by the mighty Zenit and Rudiger was on Chelsea radar for some years now.
  17. Antonio Rüdiger

I can put my house on the fact that all of who say he is shit, haven't watched a full single game in which he featured for Roma. Come forward the one fan who can sincerely say he knows him and thinks he is bad. For as far as I know, every Roma fan who actually watched him, says it's great business by us and that he is a very good (though injury prone) defender. Check here what they think of him: http://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/monchi-business.2039275/page-93 Anyway, I know it's a bit disappointing given the fact we were linked to giants such as Bonucci and VVD, but I also think that they don't worth as much as their respective teams are demanding. I truly think that spending 30 million on a defender like Rudiger is better business than 65 million on Van Dijk. I also don't think Ake has shown that he is good enough to be a starter at Chelsea. I believe Rudiger is, and to send off a player that had a nice season on loan at a bottom club for 20 million and a buy back option is fantastic for both parties involved. A summer with a return of Christiansen, and acquisitions of Rudiger, Bakayoko, Sandro and Lukaku (or another top striker) will be fucking unbelievable. It will be enough for us to challange on all fronts. So please stop being so butthurt and have some faith.
  18. Antonio Rüdiger

Very good defender, I reckon he is going to walk in to the starting XI with wase. You'll see. For now, you can keep on complaining, like most of you always do.
  19. Nemanja Matic

Give the wiz a break, he is the literally funniest thing on here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRf_A07Elyw It will be really funny if he will turn out to be right about this haha...
  20. Romelu Lukaku

Admins, I saw you said that if we disagree with someone we need to debate it out but this post is absolutely preposterous... Can you really debate a person that writes shit like this? He literally downgrades and looks down on everyone who doesn't agree with him. I am really interested to know how old this kid is. One think is sure - posts like this don't belong on a quality forum.
  21. Nemanja Matic

Oh my god, are you for real? I am starting to think you are not trolling... "when he marshalled our Midfield better than any Chelsea Player before him in History"... How deluded can you get... I mean, I like Matic but to say he is a football genius is an insult for the sport. And Nainggolan is less versatile than him LOL
  22. Is this the best Chelsea team ever?

It's far from the best Chelsea we've seen, but it's undoubtedly the team which fulfilled it's maximum potential. You can't compare players like Moses, Alonso, Matic, Cahill and Luiz to the likes of Carvalho, Cole, Essien, Ballack, etc... These teams (2005-2009) had 7-9 world class players whilst this term we posses maybe 3 (Tibo, Hazard and Kante). That said, these teams lost 3 championships to United so I can't say we got the most from them, but in my opinion, there is no chance in hell this year's team comes close to competing with Ronaldo's United. I also think that the 2010 team was better, while the 2015 was worse. Anyway, next year I think that with the right recruitments, we can challenge those great teams, we have the right foundations.
  23. The English Football Thread

I really hope that if the gap will be down to just one point (which can happen), we will react the same way we did in our last defeats. I am pretty sure Conte will play firstly not to lose against Everton because we just can't afford it, psychologically wise. The other games we can win. Surely no Fabregas this time and maybe even Willian for Pedro to help the defence. This is a huge game, probably the biggest we have left. Win this and we are champions I think.
  24. The Conte Thread

We can and should criticize Conte for yesterday but we also need to look at things in perspective. He is the best thing that happened to this club since we signed Hazard, we need to be thankful and remember that at the start of the season you wouldn't dream of this position we are in. This season is a big success on our behalf and even if we flunk the title (which will be very painful of course) it will not be the end of the world, I think next season we will be much better anyway. That said, I don't really think we will collapse from yesterday's loss. This Conte team is reacting well to defeats and we have seen it several times this season, also, we basically win the games we should so you kind of know what to expect. No need to panic, not yet at least.
  25. Cesc Fàbregas

Actually, after another so so attempt by Cesc to deliver a free kick yesterday, I remembered Frank Lampard. With all the traptechniek discussion above, I can't reminisce over this player, one of the best midfielders of his generation. Had it all.
