  1. General Transfer Talk

Aha no I don't think so. Would prefer Pedro over Hulk atm. Wonder who our new Hulk will be (now we've got Falcao too) in that we'll apparently be forever pursuing them but never get them? Maybe Pogba .
  2. General Transfer Talk

Arsenal get linked with Cavani and Benzema every transfer window lol.
  3. The Mourinho Thread

You're either trolling or just plain stupid. Check the mugshots thread if you like. Either way i'm done with this.

  5. The Mourinho Thread

I said sat next to, where did I say talk to? I hardly said a word to him.
  6. The Mourinho Thread

At the Emirates Cup last year, I'm fairly sure the picture is in the mugshots thread.
  7. The Mourinho Thread

Aha trust me. I sat next to Jorge for 2 hours once, heard him talking to his scouting team and had a picture with him. Trust me, he's crazy and said some pretty colourful shit.
  8. The Mourinho Thread

Good manager but completely mental. Really crazy guy that would get in more trouble than Mourinho does due to opening his mouth at the wrong times and not really having a filter (personally I kinda like that but looking at the stick Mourinho is getting on here probably not what we'd need).
  9. General Transfer Talk

Tbh hadn't considered it much before but William Carvalho would be a huge upgrade over Mikel and Ramires. Especially if Mikel is off (please god). Witsel would obviously be the much preferred option but he'd be a great CM signing nonetheless.
  10. Isco

Why so many posts and people viewing this thread? Please stop getting my hopes up.... If we signed Isco I would be so so happy!!
  11. Branislav Ivanovic

Please god no more. I can't take much more of seeing him play at RB.... Watching him play lately reminds me of when I was watching Kalou, Mikel and Ferreira at their worst; just got 0 trust in him and if Jose doesn't drop him for next week now we've got Baba i'll be lost for words.
  12. Next Manager?

A bit off topic but Tuchel is showing Klopp up a bit here, revitilising Miki and Reus by shifting their positions and Miki looks like the LW role was made for him. Klopp may have got a bit lazy in his last season which has tainted his reputation somewhat. Still a World Class manager though and whichever team picks him up will have got a great player and a great character (hopefully not Liverpool or Arsenal).
  13. Next Manager?

I feel like this story needs to be elaborated on.
  14. Next Manager?

Don't you dare!! No stealing big Mick from my 2nd English team .
  15. Next Manager?

I think it should be a toss up between MrBlueGuy and lionsden tbh. They both know far better than Mourinho after all. If they're unavailable then Stevie Wonder, both Chuckle Brothers and Jade Goody should definitely be in with a shout.
  16. Romelu Lukaku

If you're arrogant you better be an incredible player. Ibra is, Lukaku most certainly is not. I agree he didn't want to sit on the bench. So fight for the games at Chelsea, don't just run away from the challenge. Regarding why I think his attitude will hinder him; i've already answered that in my previous post, not going to repeat myself. Also, remember that I said IMO, i'm not claiming that his attitude stinks as a fact, just in my opinion. I have no idea what he's like in person, neither does anyone else on this forum, we're just judging from the evidence that we've been given. And from the evidence I have arrived at my own conclusions and you yours. We'll have wait and see if he ever fulfills the potential he has. My opinion is he won't and yours is quite clearly that he will. Let's wait and see.
  17. Romelu Lukaku

Unsurprising that you decide to bring your Mourinho bashing into this. Mourinho was incredibly arrogant and called himself "The Special One". He also said that he was going to win the league with a club that hadn't for 50 years. And what did he do? Won the league twice in a row with that club and set a ridiculous amount of records. It's not arrogance if you back it up. Mourinho backed it up, Lukaku most definitely has not as of now.
  18. Romelu Lukaku

Ambitious? He left Chelsea where he could've competed with Torres and Eto'o (and almost certainly got a starting spot) to go to Everton. He called himself the complete striker when he is anything but that. That to me screams arrogance and that he believes that he doesn't need to get any better by calling himself "complete". That's why his attitude will hold him back IMO.
  19. Romelu Lukaku

Indeed. That's why I said unless he changes. If he does then he could well be one of the best in the world, we'll have to wait and see. Me personally I don't think he'll ever get there because of his horrible attitude, but that's just me.
  20. Romelu Lukaku

Problem is that he's so wildly inconsistent and not up for fighting when things don't go his way. Before this game I think I heard that he'd scored 4 goals in the last 22 games he's played for a team that is entirely geared towards him scoring. On his day yes, he's brilliant but those days or just so few and far between and unless he changes that he'll never be a top player.
  21. The Mourinho Thread

  22. The Mourinho Thread

He dragged us from 6th place and the Europa League to the title within 2 years. Only our second title since he left the damn club 10 years ago too mind you. How in the christ is that premature? He's taken a team that was struggling badly in the league and essentially living off the CL win and transformed us back into the best team in England. Our team for the for the final league game of the 2011-12 season (just 3 years ago remember): ----------------------Turnbull----------------------- --Ivanovic---Terry---Hutchinson---Bertrand-- --------------Essien--------Ramires-------------- -Lukaku-----------Meireles-----------Malouda- ----------------------Sturridge---------------------- Subs: Hilario, Cole, Ferreira, Romeu, Piazon, Drogba, Torres. Our team now: --------------------Courtois-------------------- --Ivanovic---Terry---Cahill---Azpilicueta-- ------------Matic-------Fabregas------------- -Willian------------Oscar------------Hazard- ------------------Diego Costa----------------- Subs: Begovic, Zouma, Mikel, Ramires, Moses, Falcao, Remy. Look at the difference between those squads (I know we were resting a few people that game but even bringing in Cech, Luiz, Kalou and Lampard don't help the squad look that much better). The difference in strength (and age) is massive. He definitely deserves the new contract because he is by far the best manager for us at the moment. We are incredibly lcuky to have such a great manager that truly loves the club and its fans as much as we love him. Hopefully he stays for years to come and forms a dynasty here.
  23. Petr Cech

Guys you can't expect Petr to not celebrate at all! He's at a new club now and if all his teammates are celebrating it's hardly like he can shrug and go "I've won the CL and 3 PLs, this is nothing". Also, stop scrutinising everything the guy does, let's not let it become an obsession. He's a quality keeper, a quality bloke and a Chelsea Legend. But right now he's playing for Arsenal and giving his all for them (as he should). Next time we face them we should treat him as such until after the final whistle. No mercy.
  24. General Thread

Very impressive ladies!! Keep it up!
