  3. Daishawn Redan

Surprised we don't look at something similar to the Christensen loan. A 2 year deal would be ideal for development purposes but also acts as a bigger incentive to the club loaning to aid the players development knowing they can plan that bit longer with that player in the side. The deal seems pretty cheap, you would have to believe there's a buy back clause included in this.
  4. Daishawn Redan

Kicker claims the striker should sign a five-year deal with Hertha BSC in the ‘coming days’ after they reached an agreement in principle with him. The Bundesliga side are in talks with the west London club and the two clubs should find an agreement for the teenager’s sale for around €2.5m
  5. Eden Hazard

Nike's website reads: 'Racer Blue accents honor his former club while metallic gold accents nod to his new club'. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7256497/amp/Chelsea-fans-express-love-Eden-Hazard-new-boots-revealed-honour-club.html

    Class boots tho
  7. Eden Hazard

He will wear the No. 23 shirt at Real. That is to pay a tribute to our very own Carlo Cudicini.
  8. The ultimate football cliche a blend of youth and experience used by every half witted ex pro or manager since the 70's.
  9. Eden Hazard

People seeing what they want to see how anyone can think his boots are a nod to Chelsea is beyond me.
  10. Daishawn Redan

Hertha Berlin are close to agreeing a deal to sign 18-year-old Chelsea forward Daishawn Redan. Chelsea beat a host of Europe's top clubs when they signed Redan from Ajax in 2017, but the 18-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club despite being a prolific goalscorer for the club's youth sides. A number of clubs at home and abroad have been watching Redan, but Hertha Berlin have moved quickly to agree a deal with Chelsea. Chelsea were reluctant to lose Redan, but have decided to accept Hertha's offer with the forward keen to be play regular first-team football at this stage of his career. Redan is now set to become the latest Premier League youngster to make the move to the Bundesliga with German sides continuing to target the best young talents at Premier League clubs and offer them a clearer pathway to first-team football in one of Europe's top leagues.

Not going to lie the colours could mean anything. Sure nobody doubts how much he cared about the club etc but they are just a pair of football boots with blue on it, could be his favorite colour, could be "honouring" the club, could be his kids or wifes or uncles or auntys or dogs or whoevers favorite colour think people get a bit too literal and read too much into these things. Could be someone who has gone onto Nike ID and designed these himself and then posted them on Twitter saying they are Edens.. also with half the shit that's on twitter, would be more than likely.

People said the same when we had the blip last season but he adapted to the league and showed he is more than able to do the defensive side of the game. Generally dont think it will be as huge an issue.
  13. 20. Callum Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich have resigned to the fact that Chelsea will not sell Callum Hudson-Odoi under any circumstances this summer and are now actively pursuing alternative transfer targets. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/chelsea-transfer-news-callum-hudson-odoi-bayern-munich-contract-latest-a9008276.html

  17. When Chelsea announced Frank Lampard as the new head coach earlier this month, there was a real feel around the club that all of a sudden, the young players would now have the best chance ever to break into the first team setup. Let see what will happen defensively when we play jorginho in 4231 next to kante. Kante - jorgi Rudi - luiz That is how we will defend. It mean Jorginho has to cover winger area. I can see many nightmare scenario.
  19. 44. Ethan Ampadu

This is great news! Well hope for a good destination, but the kid needs to play and play a lot. he needs to develop his reading of the game a lot as a cb because he’s not the most powerful guy. In midfield he will need a lot of things, so can’t go wrong going on loan. hes just not ready and a bit part could be detrimental to his development.

  22. Christian Pulisic

He has never in his life played a 60 games season, hardly played in 2018, had a winter break. Had weeks off before the gold cup. He will be rested and fresh AF and he should be match fit already thanks to the gold cup.
  23. Christian Pulisic

He trains with his dad in the off season, plus he got a bit of rest at Dortmund. It is not like he came off a grinding season where he played most of the matches.
  24. Christian Pulisic

  25. Christian Pulisic

He actually took his break after the Bundesliga season ended; took 2-3 weeks off before joining up with US for the Gold Cup last month and of course, he took another week off last week after the tournament. Think he should be fine as the Gold Cup wasn't a draining, long tournament like the World Cup and he had a decent amount of time off and I'm sure Lampard and co. will manage his game time as well. And speaking of winter break, the Premier League will have one from this season onward (https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league-winter-break-201920-when-is-it-and-how-long-does-it-last-a4166181.html) but it'll be in February as opposed to December-January like in other leagues.
  26. Christian Pulisic

He hasn't played huge quantities of football this season and I'm sure someone mentioned he had a 2-3 weeks break between the end of the German season and playing for America so I can't see this burning him out. Agree with the winter break, although the Premier League is bringing some form of equivalent in this season. I'm sure Lampard will manage and rotate where necessary to keep things fresh this season.
  27. Christian Pulisic

Great to see of course but I'm not so sure how smart that is in the long run. He isn't used to lack of winter break either. Well I guess there will be plenty of rotation in that position anyways
